The Alere Determine™ HIV-1/2 test is simple to perform, requires minimal training and no special equipment.

The test is designed for use with fingerstick and venous whole blood, serum and plasma samples. Results are provided in 15 minutes. Quality controls are built in and with no sample preparation required, the simplicity of this test means it can be used at all levels of the health system.
